Chicken Meat Balls in a Cheesy Tomato Sauce!! What else is needed in a winter night with some Pulao or Hakka Noodles..
So, lets start the preparation.
Ingredients for Meat Balls with Cheesy Tomato Sauce -
- Chicken - 200 gm (minced)
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Green chilli - 1
- Onion - 1
- Onion -1, chopped
- Coriander leaves - 1 cup
- Tomato - 3
- Chilli powder
- Tomato Sauce
- Spring onions - 1/2 cup
- Cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Flour (Maida)- 3 to 4 tsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
- Almond paste - 2 tsp
- Oil
- Salt
For Meat balls -
- Take the minced chicken, wash it and keep it in a bowl.
- Make a paste of onion -1, green chilli, garlic and ginger.
- Marinate the minced chicken with the paste, salt, chilli powder and chopped coriander for 30 minutes at least.
- Once the chicken is marinated, add flour and mix.
- Put some drops of oil in your hands, and take small portions of chicken to make small balls.
- Take a pan and heat oil, deep fry the meat balls.
- Take out the meat balls once fried and keep it aside.
For Sauce -
- Boil tomatoes as whole. Once boiled, peel off the skin.
- Make a smooth paste of tomatoes and coriander.
- Take a pan and heat oil. Put 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste. Following that add chopped onions.
- Fry till soft and pink.
- Add the tomato coriander paste and almond paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add spring onions and stir it.
- Put chilli powder, salt, tomato sauce and cinnamon powder. Mix it well.
- Add the cheese and stir till it gets melt.
- Cook it for 2 minutes and put the meat balls.
- Mix it in the sauce and your saucy meat balls are ready.
