We all love something light, tasty, healthy and crispy snacks. So, here I am with a new dish.
Lets follow the steps:
Ingredients for Soya Chunks Pattie:
- Soya chunks - 1 bowl, finely chopped
- Carrot - 1, grated
- Green Peas - 1 bowl
- Tomato - 1
- Onion - 1
- Green Chilli -1
- Garlic - 3 to 4 cloves
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Chilli powder
- Butter
- Fresh Cream - 1 tsp
- Tomato and chilli sauce - 1 tsp
- Meat masala - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder, a pinch
- Salt, as per taste
For Green Chutney:
- Coriander leaves - 1 small bowl
- Green Chilli - 1
- Onion - 1/2
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt, as per taste
For Sheets:
- Flour - 2 cup
- Egg - 1
- Water, to knead dough
- Salt, as per taste - 1 tsp
Let's follow the steps:
- Sift flour with salt in a bowl and add egg. Mix it nicely.
- Start adding water to knead the dough.
- Knead it till its soft and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside.
- For green chutney, take fresh coriander leaves, green chilli, ginger, garlic and onion.
- Put these all ingredients in grinder and make a smooth paste.
- Once paste is done, add salt and mix well.
- For the filling, soak the soya chunks in hot water for 20 to 25 minutes till soft.
- Once the soya chunks are soft, finely chop them.
- Boil tomatoes, and green peas.
- Peel off the tomato skin.
- Put the tomatoes, green peas, onion, garlic, green chilli and ginger in a grinder.
- Make a paste of all the ingredients. Don't make a smooth paste.
- Heat butter in a pan, add soya chunks and fry till light brown. Then add grated carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the paste and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, meat masala and salt. Mix well.
- Add tomato chilli sauce (hot and sweet sauce) and mix.
- Lastly, add fresh cream. Mix the filling and turn off the flame.
- Take the dough and cut it into small portions. Make balls of the small portions.
- Roll the ball into flat sheets. Roll it till it gets very thinner.
- Remember, we have to make thin sheets.
- Now make 5 to 6 sheets of same shape.
- Now we will start the layering. Take melted butter in a cup.
- Brush butter on both sides of the sheets.
- Keep the first sheet and spread green chutney on it.
- Layer it with another sheet, spread the soya chunks filling on it.
- Repeat the same layering pattern.
- Preheat microwave at convection mode at 220°Celsius for 10 minutes.
- Bake the Pattie for 20 minutes at 200°Celsius, till it turns light brown and crispy.
