Red kidney beans, know as Rajma is very popular among Indians.
Normally, we cook Rajma as curry with different spices. But today, I am going to make kebabs with Rajma.
Let's begin preparing the yummy snack.
Ingredients for Rajma Kebabs -
- Rajma - 1 bowl
- Onion - 1/2, finely chopped
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ginger - 1/2 inch
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves - finely chopped
- Corn flour - 2 table spoon
- Bread Crumbs - 3 tsp
- Salt, as per taste
- Oil, to fry
Let's follow the steps:
- Soak the Rajma in water for overnight.
- Boil the Rajma till soft.
- Now, take Rajma, garlic and ginger in a grinder and make a thick paste.
- If needed, add 1 tsp of water in the grinder and mix.
- Now take out the paste in a bowl, put onions, coriander leaves, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, butter, corn flour, bread crumbs and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients properly.
- Take small portions, and make round balls.
- Flat the balls to make small kebabs and fry it in a pan.
- Fry the kebabs from both side till brown and crisped.
- Serve it with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
