Choco Creamy Cake


Hey friends!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in Advance! 

Today is Christmas and I have baked lovely chocolate Cake... Do try it and enjoy with your loved ones.


Ingredients for Cake -


  • Eggs - 4
  • Powdered Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Butter - 50 gm
  • Flour (maida) - 2 cups
  • Baking powder - 1.5 tsp  
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1-2 tsp
  • Hershey's Cocoa powder - 3 tsp

Baking method - Pressure Cooker

Let's follow the steps:


  • Firstly, take eggs and butter out from fridge to bring it to room temperature.
  • Sift flour and baking soda together, so that it gets mixed properly.
  • In a bowl, take butter and keep the bowl in top of a sauce pan with boiling water in it. Once the butter melts, add Hershey's Cocoa powder and mix it properly till it looks like chocolate sauce.
  • Next whisk eggs till they are light and fluffy. You will see bubbles forming, and that's when you ll know its been done properly.
  • Now add this whisked egg into the butter, and add sugar mix simultaneously. You need to mix all nicely.
  • Once its done, start adding flour to the mixture and keep folding the batter. 
  • Don't add all flour at once. You need to add small portions and fold the batter to avoid forming lumps.
  • Now add vanilla essence.
  • Take pressure cooker without whistle, grease it with butter or oil and preheat it for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the pressure cooker.
  • To avoid direct heat to the cooker and bottom layer of cake, place the cooker above a flat pan and keep it at low flame. 
  • Bake it for 20 minutes. Take a toothpick and insert it. If the toothpick comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  • To bake in convection mode in microwave, preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes and then bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes at 180°C.

For Whipping Cream:


Ingredients:

  • Amul Cream - 100ml 
  • Sugar Powdered - 3 table spoon
  • Hand mixer
Steps:



  • Take Amul Cream out of fridge. Pour half of the cream in a bowl.
  • Add powder sugar
  • In a big bowl, put cold water in it and place the bowl of cream on it.
  • Take the hand mixer, and start beating the cream for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • You can pause after some time while beating.
  • When you see peaks forming when the beater is taken out, then cream is ready.
Now for chocolate whipped cream, take half of the whipped cream. Add Hershey's Cocoa powder with 2 spoons of milk and add this mix into half of the whipped cream. Mix it for 1 minute.

Decorating:

  • Cut the cake in a round shape.
  • Put Chocolate whipped cream on the cake and spread it evenly.
  • Now with a icing cone, make designs with white whipped cream.

Rajma Kebabs



Red kidney beans, know as Rajma is very popular among Indians.

Normally, we cook Rajma as curry with different spices. But today, I am going to make kebabs with Rajma.

Let's begin preparing the yummy snack.



Ingredients for Rajma Kebabs -

  • Rajma - 1 bowl
  • Onion - 1/2, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves - finely chopped
  • Corn flour - 2 table spoon
  • Bread Crumbs - 3 tsp
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Oil, to fry

Let's follow the steps:



  • Soak the Rajma in water for overnight.
  • Boil the Rajma till soft.
  • Now, take Rajma, garlic and ginger in a grinder and make a thick paste.
  • If needed, add 1 tsp of water in the grinder and mix.
  • Now take out the paste in a bowl, put onions, coriander leaves, chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, butter, corn flour, bread crumbs and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients properly.
  • Take small portions, and make round balls.
  • Flat the balls to make small kebabs and fry it in a pan.
  • Fry the kebabs from both side till brown and crisped.
  • Serve it with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.

Chocolatey Cup Cakes



Hello friends!

Christmas is around the corner and cakes are the must during this season.

So, I have a chocolatey recipe for you. Try it at your homes :) Merry Christmas in advance!




Ingredients for Cup Cakes -


  • Eggs - 3
  • Powdered Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Butter - 50 gm
  • Flour (maida) - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp  
  • Oil - 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1-2 tsp
  • Hershey's Cocoa powder - 3 to 4 table spoon
  • Almonds (crushed/sliced)

Let's follow the steps:




  • Boil water in a sauce pan.
  • Take a bowl and put butter in it. Keep the bowl on top of the sauce pan.
  • Butter will start melting. Add cocoa powder. Keep mixing it, it will turn out just like chocolate sauce.
  • Keep the butter mixture aside.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs till its fluffy and airy. (I used grinder to beat eggs as I didn't have much time).
  • Add the beaten eggs to the butter+cocoa powder mixture. 
  • Simultaneously, add powdered sugar. Keep folding/mixing the ingredients.
  • On the other hand, sift flour and baking powder.
  • Now, keep adding the flour in portions to the batter.
  • Keep folding the batter. You can put some choco-chips or almonds.
  • Once the batter is ready, add vanilla essence, 1 tsp oil and fold the batter once again.
  • You will get to know the batter is proper when it will be neither very runny nor thick. Ribbons will form when you pour the batter. This is when your batter is perfect. As it's winters, batter gets thick sooner.
  • Now take silicon cup cake moulds, grease it with oil and pour the batter into the moulds. Don't pour it till the top, as the cup cakes will rise once baked.
  • Preheat the microwave at convection mode for 10 minutes at 180°Celsius.
  • Bake the cup cakes at 180°Celsius for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Check the cup cakes by pricking a toothpick in the middle of the cup cake, if it comes out clean then it is done.
  • Optional: After 15 minutes of baking, put some sliced almonds on the top of the cup cakes.
