Hey friends!

I know it's been a long time. But I am back with my dish for the non veg lovers! Soon, will post something veggie :D.  Lets start -

Ingredients for Chicken Masala -

  • Chicken - 250 gm (small to medium pieces)
  • Garlic - paste
  • Ginger - paste
  • Onions - 2, sliced
  • Tomato - 1, chopped
  • Potatoes - 2, cubes
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 table spoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 table spoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 table spoon
  • Meat masala - 1 table spoon
  • Oil - 3 table spoon
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Cloves - 3
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cinnamon - 1

Lets follow the steps =>

  • Wash the chicken pieces. Take a bowl and put the chicken pieces into the bowl.
  • Marinate the chicken with ginger - garlic paste, few onion slices, turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, meat masala, oil, and salt. Mix properly.
  • Keep the chicken at least for 30 minutes.
  • Take a pan, shallow fry potatoes. Take it out and keep aside.
  • Take another pan, heat oil and put bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom.
  • Add onions and fry till it turns pink.
  • Add the marinated chicken and mix all in the pan. Cover the pan with a lid. Keep it in low flame.
  • After 5 minutes, remove the lid and mix the chicken again. Once the oil is visible in the pan, you will get to know that chicken is getting cooked well.
  • Cook the chicken for 5 more minutes, covered with lid.
  • Now, once the chicken is cooked, add tomatoes and potatoes.
  • Mix them all properly. Cook the chicken till the tomatoes are well cooked.
  • Once the chicken is well cooked, you will see the change in colour (brownish) of the chicken and the tomatoes will get mashed.
  • Serve the chicken and garnish it with coriander leaves.
