Veg Manchurian


Hello friends, today check out my style dish - Manchurian with Macaroni.

Ingredients for Veg Manchurian -


For manchurian balls:
  • Garlic -3 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch (grated)
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Cabbage - 1 bowl (finely chopped)
  • Green chilly - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Flour/Maida
  • Baking soda, a pinch
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Oil, for frying
For Gravy:

  • Spring Onion - 1 or 2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch (grated)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1/2 (julienne)
  • Chilly flakes
  • Chilly powder, optional
  • Tomato sauce
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Chings Manchurian masala or (Soya sauce, cornflour, and vinegar)
  • Water

Lets follow the steps =>

  • For manchurian balls, take all the ingredients for ball in a bowl and mix flour in it. Make small balls. 
  • Now heat oil in a pan and fry the manchurian balls.
  • Take out the fried manchurian balls in a serving plate.
  • Take another pan, heat oil and add garlic, ginger, and onions. Fry till onions turn pink.
  • Add capsicum and fry till soft. Add chilly flakes.
  • In a cup of water add 2 spoon of Chings manchurian masala. It contains all masala including soya sauce, vinegar and cornflour.
  • Now pour this water into the pan. Mix it well. 
  • Add tomato sauce and salt, as per taste.
  • Cook it and if you want a thick gravy then cook it for some more time.
  • Once gravy is ready, pour it on the fried manchurian balls. Your Veg Manchurian is ready!

Capsi - Rice

Ingredients for Capsi-Rice -

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Capsicum - 1
  • Tomato - 1(finely chopped
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Green Chilly - 1
  • Garlic - 6 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
  • Almond paste
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds
  • Cumin powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Meat masala
  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves - 3
  • Cardamom -1
  • Bay leaf - 1
  • Black Pepper - 4
  • Turmeric powder
  • Chilly powder
  • Oil
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Cornflour
  • Water

Lets cook it up =>



For the chutney:
  • Heat oil in a pan. Put garlic, ginger, & green chilly; fry it. 
  • Add onions and tomato. Fry it well till soft.
  • Add almond paste, salt, chilly powder and mix well.
  • Add water and boil.
  • Once it gets bit dry, put some sugar and mix.
  • Chutney is cooked.
For rice:
  • Cook rice in a pot.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf, cumin seeds, cloves and black pepper.
  • Then, add green chilly, garlic, ginger and onions. Cook it well. 
  • Add remaining 1 tsp of almond paste and all masala - coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilly powder meat masala, and salt. Mix and cook it well.
  • Lastly, add rice and mix well. Sprinkle little water and cover the pan with a lid.
  • After 5  minutes, open the lid and mix one more time.
  • Rice is ready. Keep it covered with lid.
Capsicum:
  • Take a capsicum and gently cut the top in a round shape to make it hollow inside.
  • Keep the cut out part. Clean the capsicum from inside, make space by letting your one finger inside.
  • Then, put the prepared rice into the hollow capsicum. Stuff it as much as you can.
  • Now put the cut out part again to its place and fix it with a little dough.
  • Take a bowl, add cornflour, water and salt. Make a batter.
  • Put the capsicum in the batter and cover it with batter.
  • In a pan, heat oil and fry the capsicum at low flame, so that it gets cooked.
Your Capsi-Rice is cooked!

Baked Tresoro


Hello people!

Today I was trying to bake in my microwave with convection mode... And, it came out really well. So try out my new dish. Follow down :-


Ingredients for Baked Tresoro -


For filling:
  • Cottage cheese (Paneer) - 1 cup (crumbled)
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Garlic - 4 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch (finely chopped)
  • Chilly powder
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Chings manchurian masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Oil
For Layers:
  • Flour - 2 cups
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt
  • Ghee/Oil - 2 tsp
  • Water, as per needed to knead dough
For non vegetarians, you can add minced chicken instead of cottage cheese/paneer.

Lets follow it =>


  • Take a pan and put some oil. After the pan is heated, put some cumin seeds and vegetables.
  • Once vegetables are cooked, add crumbled cottage cheese (paneer)/ minced chicken.
  • Add some chilly flakes, salt and chings manchurian masala. Mix it well.
  • On the other hand, knead the dough.
  • Take small portions of dough and roll it. Cut out round shapes of the sheet. 
  • Place them in a bake-ware tray and brush it with oil. Pinch the edges of the sheet to make a design.
  • In the centre, put the paneer filling, and layer it with another round shaped sheet.
  • From the remaining dough, roll it and cut thin stripes to place it in the top of it, crossing each other.
  • Brush it with oil and bake it.
Baking method:
  • Pre-heat oven at 250°C.
  • Place the tray, and bake it in convection mode at 250°C for 25 minutes.



Serve it with your favourite juice and salads!

Home made Cake


Hello friends, so today I cooked my favourite cake. I love baking cakes, but I bake it in cooker. So, you also try this recipe and enjoy with your friends and family. :)



Follow it:-

Ingredients for Cake -


  • Eggs - 3
  • Powdered Sugar - 1.5 cups
  • Butter - 50 gm
  • Flour (maida) - 2 cups
  • Baking powder - 2 tsp  
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence - 1-2 tsp
  • Almonds (crushed)
Optional - 

  • Milk - 3-4 tsp
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tsp
Baking method - Pressure Cooker

Let's follow the steps:


  • Firstly, take eggs and butter out from fridge to bring it in room temperature.
  • Sift flour and baking soda together, so that it gets mixed properly.
  • In a bowl, take butter and beat it till it gets soften. Once it gets smooth and soften, add powdered sugar and mix it properly for 5 - 10 minutes.
  • Next whisk eggs till they are light and fluffy. You will see bubbles forming, and that's when you ll know its been done properly.
  • Now add this whisked egg into the butter and sugar mix. You need to mix all nicely.
  • Once its done, start adding flour to the mixture and keep folding the batter. 
  • Don't add all flour at once. You need to add small portions and fold the batter to avoid forming lumps.
  • Now add vanilla essence, crushed almonds, and chocolate pieces.
  • Optional: You can add cocoa powder to make chocolate cake. Mix cocoa powder and milk and mix it to the cake batter.
  • Take pressure cooker without whistle, grease it with butter or oil and pre-heat it for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the pressure cooker.
  • To avoid direct heat to the cooker and bottom layer of cake, place the cooker above a pan and keep it at low flame. 
  • Bake it for 20 minutes. Take a toothpick and insert it. If the toothpick comes out clean then the cake is ready.

Bread Rollies


My next recipe would be something in snacks or one can also have it in breakfast. So, this is very much available in our houses, so you don't need to go out specially for this recipe and buy ingredients. :)





Just follow these steps-

Ingredients for Bread Rollies -

  • White Bread - 2
  • Mashed/Boiled Potatoes - 2
  • Chilly powder
  • Onions - 1/2 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • Chat masala
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Oil

Let' Cook it up -

  • Take roller and roll it on the bread to make it evenly flat.
  • On the other hand, take boil potatoes and mash it with onion, chilly powder, chat masala, and salt. Mix it well.
  • Put mashed potato & coriander leaves at one end of bread and roll it. If required you can use picks to keep the bread rolled.
  • Fry it in oil.
  • Serve it crisped with tomato sauce.

Fruity Treat


Hi Guys, its been a long time I haven't shared my recipes. Sorry for that :D!
So today I am going to share something fruity, as its summer time and fruits are best this time. So, lets start.



Ingredients for Fruity Treat-


  • Custard powder - 2-3 tbsp
  • Milk - 2.5 - 3 cups
  • Sugar -  5 tbsp
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Mango pulp
  • Banana
  • Water melon
  • Cashew nuts
  • Raisins

Let's cook Custard -

  • Pour milk in a saucepan and bring it to boil. 
  • While milk is boiling up, take 4 tbsp of warm milk in a cup and mix custard powder. Stir it well to avoid lumps. Pour this mix into boiling milk.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Once custard is cooked, keep aside and let it cool down.
  • Pour custard in a small glass and refrigerate it.
  • After 25-30 minutes, take it out and layer it with pomegranate seeds and above it with mango pulp.
  • Again refrigerate it so that it gets set.
  • Cut banana and watermelon in round shapes and put it in pick to garnish.
  • Garnish it with cashew nuts and raisins, as per your liking.
And your fruity treat is ready. This is a best option for kids and for parties as well. Enjoy it. :)
