Yum Macaroni Recipe


Lets start with the lists of ingredients,

Ingredients for Macaroni Recipe -

  • Macaroni - 1 packet
  • Capsicum - 1 (chopped) 
  • Tomato - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Onion - 2 (finely sliced)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch (finely chopped)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Tomato sauce - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Chilly sauce (optional)
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - less than 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp or as per taste
  • Green coriander (for garnishing)
  • Grated cheese (for garnishing)

That's the way to follow -

  • We' ll start with boiling the macaroni, first. Take 4 to 5 cups of water in any utensil and place it on flame for heating. When water starts boiling add 1 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp salt and macaroni into it and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Stir at regular intervals.
  • Once macaroni is soft, drain the hot water and pour cold water into the macaroni. Drain again. Keep it aside.
  • Wash all the vegetables, capsicum, tomato, onions, ginger and garlic, and then chop them as mentioned. 
  • Preheat some oil in a pan. When oil is hot, add finely chopped ginger and garlic, and saute for while. 
  • Now add finely sliced onions. Once onions turn light brown, add finely chopped capsicum and after 1 minute add tomato and again saute for a while.
  • Put some salt, as per taste, chilly powder and pepper powder, and mix well.
  • Once the veggies are cooked well, add boiled macaroni and tomato sauce and mix well. Keep it for 1 - 2 minute.
  • Put the flame off, sprinkle grated cheese and cover with a lid, so that the cheese melts well.
  • Garnish mouth watering Macaroni with grated cheese and coriander.
